Valmorel is a winter sports resort located at 1,320m above sea level, in the Tarentaise valley, in Savoie. The skiing area of Valmorel cover 3,600 hectares, from 1,400 to 2,832m above sea level, to form the “Grand-Domaine” by being linked to the resort of Saint-François-Longchamp. This convivial resort and human-sized offers many winter sports such as alpine skiing, snowboarding, nordic skiing, sledding but also off-piste skiing, snowshoeing, ski touring and dog sledding. Owning 165 km of slopes, 2 snowcross and 6 beginner areas, the Grand Domaine will be perfect for beginners and experienced skiers. The resort of Valmorel is a “skis on feet” resort, thus, you won’t need to carry you skis everywhere!
