Valmeinier is a French commune in the Savoy department, part of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Located at the heart of the Maurienne valley, Valmeinier has preserved its charm and authenticity over the years. The resort of Valmeinier contains 42 slopes for a total length of 65 kilometers with mostly blue slopes. It covers 61 hectares and offers a snowpark. Located at 1,500 meters in altitude, the resort culminates at 2,600m above sea level, offering a 1,100-meter vertical drop. Usually, the ski season stretches from the end of December to the end of April.
