St-Léger-les-Mélèzes is a winter sports resort of the Hautes-Alpes department, which is located near the Ecrins National Park. The skiing area of St Léger les Mélèzes is located between 1,260 and 2,001m above sea level with 16 alpine slopes covering 24 km (including 7 green, 3 blue, 5 red and 1 black), 2 km of nordic slopes, 3 delineated snowshoe paths, 2 tobogganing areas, etc. More than half of the domain is covered by artificial snow and the slopes are served by 10 ski lifts (7 ski tows, 2 chairlifts, 1 conveyor belt). St-Léger-les-Mélèzes has a suitable name since it is sprinkled with larch forests (“mélèze” in French) among which you can ski while admiring stunning panoramas. The resort offers many activities such as snowshoeing, skijoring, cross-country skiing, paragliding, etc!
