Serre Chevalier is a winter sports resort of the Hautes-Alpes department, in the Southern Alps. Located near the Ecrins National Reserve, the city gathers the following communes: Briançon, Chantemerle, Villeneuve and Le Monêtier-les-Bains. Serre Chevalier is the first non-connected domain of France with 250 kilometers of slopes. It also has the ‘Famille Plus’ label. Serre Chevalier hosted a few stages of the alpine ski World Cup and the Tour de France several times.
The Serre Chevalier domain is very vast and counts 81 slopes for a total of 250 km, with mostly red-level slopes. Located at 1,200 meters in altitude, the resort culminates at 2,800m above sea level. Usually, the ski season is long and lasts around 130 days, from the end of December to mid-April. Enjoy 10 kilometers of night skiing slopes and 5 snow parks for thrill-seeking tourists.
