Flaine is a ski-on-foot winter sports resort, located on the lands of Magland and Arâches-la-Frasse, in Haute-Savoie. This resort, created in 1968, is classified as a historic monument. The resort has the specificity of being stretched over five levels: from top to bottom we find: the Hameau de Flaine (at 1,800m), Flaine Montsoleil (at 1,750m), Flaine-Forêt (at 1,700m), Flaine-Forum at (1,600m) and Flaine-Front de Neige (at 1,500m). Moreover, the resort is linked to one of France’s largest skiing area: the Grand Massif, which counts 265 km of slopes. The skiing area of Flaine spreads over 146 km of slopes (with 64 slopes including 8 green, 26 blue, 25 red and 5 black) which are served by 24 ski lifts.
