Allevard is a French commune in Isère, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. This commune is known as Allevard-les-Bains because of its spa therapy. Close to Grenoble and well located, the town offers a lot of activities during the winter and summer period for families and friends. A few kilometers from the village is the resort of Collet d’Allevard, created in 1955 from ancient communal pastures. Due to its particular shape, it offers outstanding panoramas and modern structures for unforgettable holidays. Moreover, the resort has a 11-kilometer slope for nocturnal skiing, making it one of the largest night skiing area of Europe. The Collet d’Allevard resort is located at 1,450 meters in altitude and culminates at 2,100m offering a 650m vertical drop. The domain contains 28 slopes for a total length of 35 kilometers. It mostly includes blue and red-level slopes, which is ideal for beginners. The ski season usually stretches from the end of December to the beginning of April.
