Les Carroz d’Araches is a family winter sports resort located at 1,140m above sea level in Savoie, in the town of Arâches-la-Frasse. It is part of the Grand Massif domain (gathering 5 resorts: Flaine, Les Carroz d'Arâches, Morillon, Samoëns and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval) which offers an access to 265 km of slopes (135 slopes including 14 black, 50 red, 54 blue and 17 green) and a snow park. The slopes are served by 80 ski lifts and the peak of the skiing area culminates at 2,500m above sea level. The resort is on the plateau located above the valley of Arve, which benefits from an optimal amount of sunshine. It offers varied mountain activities such as hiking, rock climbing, canyoning, rafting, riverboarding, horse riding, paragliding or ballooning, mountain biking, etc.
